Maybe I will not use this exclusively for astro imaging...

This little lighthouse is 1100m away on a tripod focussed with LiveView



Then a couple of a Hooded Crow - hand held

Only just realised these were taken with my old lens...I think you're going to enjoy this baby. I always enjoyed that extra reach... MF does take some getting used to, though tripod mounted provides access to on screen focussing - which really does boost its potential.

Yes...that bokeh is unmistakable. But this one's lovely and sharp when all the elements 9light, tripod, focus) come together
