First Bluebell shot of the year

The question is: should it be the last too?
I have seen quite a few pictures of Bluebells from further south where things seem much further advanced (seasons that is), but I could only find 3 flower stalks in the whole of our wood; this was the only one with a 'bell' opened up properly. Spot the bonus wee spider.

This is a severe crop of the original RAW file processed in Lightroom.
Taken with the E-PL5 and Panasonic 20mm 1.7

Re: First Bluebell shot of the year

Nice composition & DoF but loks a little flat on my monitor a little tweak in curves (blending mode Luminosity so as not to change the colours) should bring it to life.

What a great position to be in - you can learn from our mistakes!
