Don McCullin - Exhibition at Londonís Tate Britain

Have a look, read and see the video. It really is what he says.

Re: Don McCullin - Exhibition at Londonís Tate Britain

I enjoyed viewing the video - full of history and life - how the city runs with the people within it.

Thanks for the link.

Re: Don McCullin - Exhibition at Londonís Tate Britain

Thanks for providing the link to the video, Antonio. I enjoyed watching him in action very much.

So an 83 year old man can handle 2 Canon 5D Mk IV cameras plus 'enormous' lenses in the heat and humidity of Calcuta, yet others no more than two thirds his age, or less, complain about the 'weight' of a single full frame camera and lens. Makes you wonder what's wrong with the 'younger' generation.

Re: Don McCullin - Exhibition at Londonís Tate Britain

Steve, the problem is not that simple.
I am sure he had with him what I call "slaves". "Slaves" are people who traves with us to hold the cameras, change lenses, cameras, replaces cards and so on.

I also love an assistant but it costs a lot and a do it all by myself. As I can't afford such a person with me I have moved to m43...

Even so, you know that a camera, two or three lenses, chargers, computer and charger, tablet and charger etc can be very heavy.

Two weeks ago, I have been in India and Sry Lanka. I quickly reached 6,5 kg of equipment. It is true that I had with me the Oly 40-150... and two 5 II...

Shot when I was using Canon equipment, a few years ago and one with Olympus
