My Nomination for 'Picture of the Day'

Very well deserved.
Excellent lighting, superb composition and beautifully processed.
An extremely detail rich image.

Very nice but should I flag the sloping horizon?

Re: My Nomination for 'Picture of the Day'

Ian I noticed that butit could be that is the fact of the matter. Looking at the power cable poles convinced me that in this case it was acceptable.
But yes I do take your point.

Fair comment but Greg had probably had a few beers. I'm sure that he could easily fix it, when he's sober!

I agree, I like it.
The clag down on Criffel again?

Scotland rarely has horizontal horizons. Norfolk maybe, Scotland no. And I'm not including looking out to sea.

I fear that the problem is viewed only when no Single Malt has been applied to the eyes via the "system"

Cracking photo Greg - might almost convert me to B & W.
Were you standing on the Skewbridge? Might explain the (possible) sloping horizon....

Re: My Nomination for 'Picture of the Day'

Can I just say thank you to Jon for nominating this shot And thanks for the comments too

The truth is that the horizon is definitely sloping and needs correcting

Cheers
