Re: Picture of the day

I'll vote for this one as I WOULD LOVE to be able to go to Skye...I cannot see me EVER managing too though.

Quote..."p.s. please forgive if I have used CAPS, I had no intention to shout at someone, merely its 30+ years of Report writing whereby to draw attention to a IMPORTANT POINT caps are were used ! Sorry if I have inadvertantly caused offence ! I shall try and highlight more"

I am with you with the use of upper case as a way of emphasizing things....who are these "geeks" to highjack it as a way of shouting.
I could have done with someone to help me recently on EPZ when I got some really hurtful comments when I tried to be funny in capitals and all hell let loose.
The valid point I was making about an image was derided by a bunch of wallies who were classic "kings new cloths" fodder.

Thanks
Keith

p.s. Can anyone give some names to the faces ....I'm just nosey.

Why Not?
Its just up the M6, M74, M8, A82, A87. Only 474 miles.
About an average day's drive for our Australian friends.

Or catch the train in the evening to Crewe, change to the Inverness sleeper and train from there to Kyle of Lochalsh.

I agree, believe it or not for three years I "commuted" between Loughborough & Thurso. 1200 mile round trip.

Planes, trains, buses, & car (I even hitched it once)
Train was by far the worst method

Re: Picture of the day

Another one of the Skye Photo Event ! This time just one person! I love this shot for the passion in the eyes, the experience in the face and a hint of a cheeky chap - not that I know him! and I believe this photo is enhanched being b&w and that colour would take something away from this shot. But just mho
