OK, Chiltern is a quaint old town about 37kms away. I'll pop my bike on the train and do a shoot up there soon.

Re: "The Best Camera ..."

The best camera is a Leica surely, with some expensive glass attached.
We all lust after a Leica, don't we.

It's only the best if you have one in hand, Steve - and if you haven't, then a camera phone beats it hands down..

Of course it is Mark, the Leica reference above was said rather tongue in cheek!

I couldn't agree more with you first comment Mark.
And that little XZ and it's great lens is well up the pecking order in many camera lists.
Nice shot by the photographer too

Re: "The Best Camera ..."

I must admit that the XZ2 is maybe what we use consistently as senility overtakes us and through sheer mental fatigue we find ourselves shooting everything on auto.

That said, I dusted off the E3 the other day to shoot birds at the wetlands. In spite of its encumbering weight it felt like a real camera in hand!

Thanks Huw

A camera in the hand is worth two on the shelf!
