Re: Billingham Hadley Small ... my most versatile bag

Now that I've got neoprene pouches for all my lenses, and also one for my E-M5, I've removed the padded inner from my black Hadley small to give more room. It can now house my 12mm, 25mm, 45mm, 40-150 and the camera with first grip attached.

David,

It's a superb bag and I doubt you will be disappointed, it should last for decades too. I looked at the retrospective range and whilst I liked them I felt that the Hadley range was better for me.

Re: Billingham Hadley Small ... my most versatile bag

here's a brand that I'm sure many of you may be unaware of...... Cotswold Aquarius. They are an English manufacturer of absolutely top quality kit in specialist angling and shooting circles... but along with some fashion and equestrian bits also do a couple of camera ranges - including some very traditional designs

Simon, thanks for your thoughts. I bought a Billingham 445 many years ago but have seldom used it since I ended up putting too much kit in it that I hated lugging it around. It's a superb bag and still looks as good as new. I bought a khaki Hadley for my wife a few years back and bought a sage Hadley Pro for myself. I also have an olive Stowaway bag so I'm not unfamiliar with Billingham. I know that it's going to ooze quality and be a joy to use.

My only difficulty is picking a colour that I haven't already got and picking a colour that is the most inconspicuous for street work. I saw a note on the Billingham site saying that they have a new colour forthcoming (Birch) and I have written to them asking if they will be making a Hadley Small with it.
