One of Ashton Court, Bristol

Hi All

Just started processing a few images from the egroup trip yesterday, and I quite liked the look of this shot of Ashton Court taken with the Oly 35-100mm f2. Minimal processing, except there were far too many people about... waaaaaay to many - so I decided to experiment with the Content-Aware brush in CS5.

The folks on the right proved too much for my lack of experience in using such powerful tools, but overall... Wowza...

Nice shot John, I enjoy viewing these these old buildings in your part of the world, we don't have anything here like them. The new content-aware feature in CS5 is a great tool, I have used it some and it is amazing what it can do.

What's all that about then (the new CS5 tool)?

I'm not one for amending the actual pixels in an image - in ways such as making people thinner, rounder, or physically adjusting pixels etc, but I had heard all the fuss about the content aware filter and wanted to see how I could use it.

Here's the original Dave; check the people!

Wow!
Great, but I will stick with CS4.

Re: One of Ashton Court, Bristol

Yep, I was very impressed with that too Dave. My Photoshop skills are not good, and so for me to be able to do this says something about how easy it is to use that particular tool.
