Canon FD 300/4

I bought this to play around with prior to getting the Oly 300/4. It's in virtually unused condition and comes with an FD to MFT converter. 100 inc 2nd class postage.

I'm sorry your interest was so short lived. Not all of us are around all day to answer posts.

Re: Canon FD 300/4

I saw you had been on the forum after my post. It would have been nice if you could have at least acknowledged the post even if you were unable to immediately provide the photo requested.

Still no harm done as after doing further research I decided it was not what I was looking for.

Re: Canon FD 300/4

I could be interested in this lens but a picture would be good to see before committing to purchase.
If you could supply one I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Canon FD 300/4

Here are two.

There's a slight scuff on the metal lens cap and a bit of dust inside which i think is on the anti glare lining rather than the glass itself and would probably come off with a quick vacuum suck.

Re: Canon FD 300/4

Thank you for these David.
Does the dust show up on the photographs at all?
I am definitely interested, is there any movement on your price at all assuming the dust isn't an issue?

Re: Canon FD 300/4

Dust in or on a lens doesn't show up on photo's - the dust spots are so out of focus. If dust is very bad it will cause low contrast images.

Thank you Jim, I wasn't too sure what effect it would have so that's very helpful.

Re: Canon FD 300/4

Just an FYI, the removable tripod mount can be modified to fit all sorts of things. Extension tubes and tele-converters in my case.
