I'd ask for your money back and use the D-300.

Re: Give the E-M10 one more go this morning

From looking at those I'd say that on some of them your focus point is not on the subject, especially those where the subject is walking towards you.

So I thought what the hell and asked the wife to walk down the path (which was in shade) towards me,she was not happy..

Shot on the E-M10 and 45mm at f2 using just the center focus point ,single shot with continious AF.

She covered about 20 feet in 8 seconds in which I managed to get off 5 shots.
All but one are pin sharp where the af point was.

Having looked at your Flickr account, are you using the E-M10 in Manual mode?

Program dial setting M?

That seems to be the case and it's causing issues with getting the correct exposure, but it shouldn't affect the autofocus.

She certainly didn't look happy - I guess he'll have to cook his own beans on toast for tea!

Re: Give the E-M10 one more go this morning

I have a few photos taken with the E-P5 and 45mm f1.8, at f1.8, where face priority seems to have caused issues. If this is switched on, re-test with it off. If that doesn't resolve it, either the camera or lens may have an issue.

Re: Give the E-M10 one more go this morning

Hi I believe that there is a push pull, for manual or auto focus maybe it gets moved to manual focus when the shot is taken I have taken shots of a car and motor bike traveling towards me at 6 frames per second in CAF mode and got 5 out of 6 in focus with my 75 f1.8 set at f2.8 I don't have the 45mm myself but have heared from those that do have the 45mm it is very easy to slip the lens into manual focus without noticing.

The 45mm doesn't have the push/pull of the 12-40 and 17. I have the 45mm.
