Bingo!!

I have just won myself a 200 Amazon gift certificate

Seeing as I am starting to enjoy my macro I am tempted to buy a macro lens.

Any advice regarding the 35mm?

Just how close do you have to get, will it be ok with my E400?

Any examples of images taken with this lens?

Amazon Amazon

Re: Bingo!!

Congrats on the win - nothing better than money for nothing

The lens is very very good.......but I do wonder if that's the best way to spend your windfall (that amazon price seems top end to me)

Re: Bingo!!

Holy Cow - I've just looked through Amazon's entire Zuiko range...

395.29 for an XZ-1???? I can get it for 320 on the high street...

In the end, the 35mm would be a free prine lens - not to be sneezed at

Re: Bingo!!

Know what I would do? (I dunno why, but your post has really stuck in my mind)

I would sell my voucher for 180 and spend the cash on the 2nd hand market on a 35mm and an ec-25 extension tube.

But that's me

I suspect I haven't really helped.... sorry
