Re: Is the Olympus Camera Menu Complex?

It's more of how well verse you are with the system. I find the Oly EM1ii menu getting slightly better from the previous.

Re: Is the Olympus Camera Menu Complex?

Even I can find my way around it now. But gotta know what you are after.

The problem is that you have to learn the possibilities that the menu gives you.

It is a very complex system....:

If I'd learnt it I'd soon forget it. Best to just ask on here

Do you agree that the Oly Menu is complicated?
I found the EP-2 a nightmare, not least because settings frequently got "knocked", largely because of that crappy rear wheel. When my EM-1 was away for repair I tried to get back into using the EP-2 but gave up.

Strangely, in setting up the camera to pass it on, I found it not too bad.

Either the EP-2 or the EM-1 would be scarcely usable without the SCP.

For both camera the Mysets are important. I used them a lot with the EP-2 but can't remember when I last did so with the EM-1. I need to know that they are there.

What really annoys me is when a dialogue pops up, blocking my view for the apart of the menu I need to access.

I find that personal allocation of buttons really helps.

Then there is my A7r menu...

Try pressing that "info" button when the dialog box appears, it then disappears.

Thanks, I use that so much elsewhere but didn't think of it.
