Re: Autumn colours

Ditto from me I like the last three as well, although my favourite is the sun flare through those red leaves.

Re: Autumn colours

Here's a few Westonbirt shots from me. It was an excellent day out and I'm most impressed how Ian organised the weather too It was amazing how we just seemed to manage to get some lovely light interludes just when needed between the rain and hail storms.

Interesting way the hail doesn't seem to reach the ground in that last one? who's going to explain that strange phenomenon?

Re: Autumn colours

I was disappointed not to be able to take part in any of the group meets but time and distance and all that...

However, we did go out for an explore around Swaledale on Monday and found a few places of interest. I particularly like these 'Cow Houses' which are a feature of the area and were used from about the 17th century to house cattle during the harsh winters in this part of the country.

I have since realised that a well known north-east photographer took a very similar photograph a few years ago, but I still prefer mine. I also took some photographs on my RZ67 using Kodak Ektar 100 so I am keen to see how they come out.

An impressive photo, beautifully captured, so clear and peaceful looking.

Re: Autumn colours

Looks like a grand day out was had by all. I particularly like some of the close up leaf studies... something I always fail to spot myself!
