Christmas eve

Having decided to get used to using the 410 really well before thinking about upgrading I tried this with no flash and only the tree lights on and was quite pleased with the result

my thinking is if I can get really comfortable with the 410 without is etc I'll get a lot more benefit when I do upgrade rather than upgrading straight away.Regards Iain

Re: Christmas eve

I managed quite well with my E400 for almost a year and was well pleased. However there came a point when I messed up an otherwise good shot by trying to hand hold it at 1/15th. Grrr. So, when a used E510 came up on the forum I went for it...

The E400 is still here and gets used when I want something smaller and lighter. Its still a good camera.

Iain

There something about the colours in your picture that give an old fashioned look.

I like it a lot.

Ps IS is very useful but I only use it when I have to,for normal light I leave it off.
