Lovely young ladies

we had a visit from our granddaughters for a few days and the youngest, who is a real "Moggul" decided I had to shoot some pics of her.

(The oldest, who is entering her teenage years told me under no circumstances did she want any of her taken)

I was therefore really pleased when I managed to sneak one of her which she agreed was "rather nice" so I was allowed to print it off and keep it

See what you think (not great in terms of lighting for Lauren as it was a rushed job with my continuous lighting kit I normally use for product photography)

Thumbs up Re: Lovely young ladies

High quality images, such as these, are no replacement for a smartphone selfie in the mirror...

The last picture is very good, I hope she appreciates just how good.

Well done.

Re: Lovely young ladies

thanks for your responses, the last one is nice but the more I look at it the more that untidy hair irritates me (that's what comes of rushing the job, having said she wanted her photos doing she then decided that she really wanted to be in the studio painting china with Nanma )

What I like about shooting Lauren is that she can take on so many different characters, these shots show some of this (I think)

Re: Lovely young ladies

Lauren is very expressive and I can appreciate just how much you must enjoy photographing her.

Bethan conveys a more reserved nature and a soft beauty all her own. I love the unruly hair, so natural and carefree an attitude.

Re: Lovely young ladies

Mark - spot on, chalk and cheese characters both of whom I love to bits (of course )

In time I suspect both will break hearts but I think Bethan may end up being the most striking looking

I agree, Brian - although in the case of my own daughters I considered the reserved eldest to be the most striking, yet the it was the extrovert youngest who was socially the most wooed!!

Re: Lovely young ladies

No 2 of the first post for me, last one is OK but No 2 captures something of her personality.
