Wonder Downunder

An Antipodean strongman supporting the world ...the concept may require an adjustment of personal orientation.

Your comments are always appreciated regardless of how serious or silly.

Re: Wonder Downunder

Is it a self portrait?

Now that looks amazing and is the best of your latest shots with interesting processing

Re: Wonder Downunder

The only thing I find unsettling about this one is the amount of blank sky in the scene. If that too were to have some sort of coloured texture it would be superb. The subject certainly suits this treatment.

There, you have finally succeeded in washing my brain, Mark!

Re: Wonder Downunder

Simply amazing what one man can do in this Aussie heatwave

At first I did THINK it was YOURSELF Mark, then I saw the fat rolls and KNEW ITs someone else

Very interesting. I am interested in the steps it took to develop to this finished Artwork

Gee thanks Alf. If it were a self portrait do you really believe I'd be sitting here instead of out there as a focus of distaff attention !

Thanks for the feedback Stephen - don't worry about the brainwashing, if it's anything like mine it'll get dirty again in no time !

Yeah Chevvy, the heat has got to me bad ... it propels me into an hallucinogenic stupor.
The steps to produce the artwork begin with a suitable base image/s requiring intensive Photoshop processing using filters such as Warp, Distort, Liquify, Bloat etc., plus bits cut and pasted, rasterized, subtracted to develop the whole. Long stretches of imagination boosted by periodic use of banned substances were required to create the figure with an Armstrong enough to support such an enormous load as the Globe.

Re: Wonder Downunder

I in my stuper saw it as a guy balancing on madonnas belt in close up.
