I think I may have been wrong.

I said on one of the forums two weeks ago that I thought my local forest colours were at their best.Changed my mind today.

That's until next week.

With the E5 and either the 12-60 or 7-14.

Yep I'd agree with that, looking good for colours here too, but those are extremely good images....like the last one best

Re: I think I may have been wrong.

That's the thing with autumn, it's so unpredictable. I was planning a day out today, but my daughter wanted me to be taxi service to and from meeting her friends. I thought the colours looked particularly vibrant as I was driving around today. Excellent shots, Andy.

Fantastic...especially No 1; I noticed this morning how crisp and vibrant the leaves had become....I hope there is some good light in the morning.

Re: I think I may have been wrong.

Thank you all for your comments.I do find the colours look better when taken in dull light, probably due to less shadows.

I think you're right about this. Number 1 my particular favourite but it's a great series.

Wow, those look as though they were shot somewhere in Hobbiton. I agree, best with subdued light.

Re: I think I may have been wrong.

Mmm, that 7-14 does fantastic things with foliage. The trees look 3D.. Lovely shots.

Re: I think I may have been wrong.

Fabulous set Andy, that 3rd on is extra special.

Pete's right re the 7-14, it's brilliant for woodland photography. JohnI is looking for one in the sales section. He'd have to "Heston" it from me.

Re: I think I may have been wrong.

I think most people who own the 7-14 will say that they don't use it all that much but would not be without it.

Thanks for the comments.
