Downside Up Downunder

Melbourne yesterday, A busker performs for public entertainment in Federation Square.
1.

2.

3.

4.
He backflips over an accomplice chosen from the audience ... to express the motion I shot at 1/125 @ f7.1.
In hindsight I think frozen motion would have been more effective. He did it only once.

Re: Downside Up Downunder

Nice series Mark.
I quite like the blur motion of the busker compared to the stillness of everyone else (especially the audience participant) in the last shot so perhaps it's a matter of personal taste. I think the blur leads you to understand what is happening a bit more easily that if he were just froxen in mid air.

Regards

That's very lenient of you Jeremy. The motion blur is more than I intended. although he announced in detail what he was about to perform I was completely caught off guard by the speed of his somersault - 1/250 sec would have shown motion with more detail, especially his face.
