Re: Scanned slides

Very atmospheric, Symon. Glad to see you are giving old slides new life by scanning. You need to dust spot them, though. It's an occupational hazzard when scanning, often takes me about 20 minutes working on a 100% enlargement to clone out all the dust!

Re: Scanned slides

I've got about 50 slides I'd like to get onto my PC somehow - what's the best way to do this?

Re: Scanned slides

I did these with an epson 2400 scanner that i bought cheaply from ebay i think i paid about 30

I also have a slide copier attachment that you put onto the camera and put the slide at the other end and take a photograph of it

My friend photographed all his dads slides by having a slide show and just taking a photograph of the projected image with good results

I have also recently seen a self contained slide copier at maplins for about 40 here is the link http://www.maplin.co.uk/5mp-compact-...scanner-503038

Re: Scanned slides

Well I don't have a projector, so it'll have to be one of the other options....

Re: Scanned slides

I have just put slide copier in ebay and there a quite a few of the ones that you attach to your camera on there and they are cheap all T mount so you may have to also buy the mount for your oly

Ps

Dont forget about the cropping effect though as these were made for full frame 35mm cameras works ok for me in most cases

I also put slide scanner into ebay and there is someone who will scan you slides and put them onto disc for 15 for upto 50
