Talking North Ireland trip :-)

I'm off to Ireland on sat morning for a week.
I'm driving and taking my dogs. I'll probably camp most of the time as it's easier with the dogs and I enjoy it.
The north coast is meant to be very scenic so I'm sure I'll get loads of photos which I'll post here on my return.

Just hope the weather is nice.

Paul

I hear it's a very beautiful part of the world, but I haven't been yet. I have been to the east and west coasts of southern Ireland - enjoyed it very much. Don't forget the lakes. Will you be visiting the Giant's Causeway?

Ian

Re: North Ireland trip :-)

North coast is awesome, excellent for photos, south east coast among the Mourne mountains is also a good spot, and anywhere around Lough Neagh (UK's largest lake) is also good - I live on the south edge of Lough Neagh. Loads of places, too many to mention!

Re: North Ireland trip :-)

Yes Paul, there are certainly some stunning locations up the north coast. Carrick-a-rede rope bridge from the coast road, Dunluce Castle, a beautiful waterfall at Glenarriff forest park. You might want to do a google images search to whet your appetite! I look forward to your photographs.

Re: North Ireland trip :-)

Paul if you are heading to the Mourne area give me a call. The mountains have taken a bashing in the last week as there have been a large number of fires and areas have been burnt out. I will be away until late Sunday night but should be about most of the week after that would be great to meet up.

I'll try to catch up with you Ed, I'll phone you next week. I looked on Google maps for Mourne but unsure where you are, what is the closest town?
