Hendon

This is were we ended up after a blizzard forced us out of Limehouse! Reduced in viewing area due to preparations for the RAF 100 celebrations later in the year but is is free and worth a visit. The `arty` shots of a window are not usually my style and were taken in the corner of the restaurant. By accident I had left my white balance settings fixed on indoor lighting but was pleasantly surprised at the result. The B17 waste turret to me looked like something out of Star Wars.

I hope you meant waist turret (although having read of the likelihood of survival in one of them, perhaps you were right)!

Re: Hendon

"Star Wars" indeed. Good spotting.

Re: Hendon

My error! It was of course a `belly` turret in the B17. A waist position would I think be on the side.
