Another North American species named by a colour blind ornithologist. A male Red-breasted Nuthatch​. Being a male, the 'red breast' is redder than a females would be.

A Redshank and a Greenshank engaged in a quite severe dispute, in which the Greenshank got the upper hand and the Redshank lost a few feathers.

That was a bullfinch one of the first shots I took with my em5 mk2 and panasonic 100-400.
