In a small Landscape - colours

I still have trouble in seeing these macro insects as 'small', perhaps because they inhabit a world of colours and shapes so different to our own.

And that to me is one of the fascinations, at the end of the lens is a colourscape of strong saturated colour, against which you can arrange an image.

Anyway, it an opportunity to post just a bit more of the same, in the hope that patience is not yet eroded.

E-3, Sigma 150, ec2.0

Comments welcome

More super shots. I am trying macro but find I have a shaky hand due to age /illness so have to use a tripod and the number of empty leaves I am taking photgraphs off is increasing. Keep posting please find your shots fascinating.

Well I have a pretty good collection of leaves, though I'm catching a lot less nowadays.

Unless light is very very good I always use flash, as shutter speed needs to be over 1/200. C-af is important as is patience. Must admit the thought of using a tripod would daunt me a bit. Hope practise brings about a higher keeper rate.
