Print sizes fro 4-3

I am a bit confused and need fellow photographers assistance.

1.What is the maximum print size from Olympus E-1 with keeping proper quality? Best if you can specify in Centimeter (not Inch size)?

2.Most labs cater for cameras that are not in 4-3 format and Micro 4-3. Can you specify a list of sizes suitable for 4-3 format (again, in Centimeters).

Thanks in advance)

Re: Print sizes fro 4-3

Unfortunately for you all printing is specified in DPI (Dot per Inch)

This: http://www.urban75.org/photos/print.html gives a good indication of the guidelines for dpi to print size for the resolution of the camera.

However: If you are printing very large pictures, then they will be viewed further away and you can easily print at much lower resolution and the quality will look the same.

I regularly print competition and exhibition quality prints at 50cm x 40cm.

Re: Print sizes fro 4-3

all files can be cropped a bit to suit all the sizes available. we need to consider that when taking/edit our photos.

I would consider printing up to a 60/70 x 50 cm photo from a good em1 file. 40 x 50 cm should not be any drama at all.......but all comes down to how good the file is.
