It's an amazing place but so many people when we were there!
I can't complain we were just tourists too but I had to work hard to get shots that weren't just other people and their cameras and phones

Re: Amazon Prime Day is now live

For the Adobe Creative Cloud offer, it's interesting that when I follow the link part of the requirements are for "Platform : Windows 8, Windows 7". Makes me wonder just how genuine this is.

As for the YI camera and lens, here was I thinking this was an Olympus site. Do I smell some spam here?

In that case, I would be spamming my own site

First of all, while Olympus was instrumental in the creation of this site - a long time ago, it is no longer an active partner. The main focus of the site remains Olympus, but of course Olympus and its users are now part of a family called Micro Four Thirds. Yi Technology is also a member of that family, along with Sigma, Panasonic Lumix, Tamron, Leica, and many others.

One particularly good thing about Amazon is that it protects its customers. If there were to be any impropriety concerning any vendor on the Amazon Marketplace, Amazon will deal with it.

Re: Amazon Prime Day is now live

Amazon Prime day is over and some 36 orders were placed through our link over the two days this year's event ran. Thank you to everyone that took part.

The commission earned will be modest, but every penny helps!

By the way, I do encourage you to consider using your local dealer - especially if they offer a good service. Amazon has been around for a long time but the best local dealers are also still there. If you can't find a decent local dealer then please consider helping another good cause (us!) by browsing Amazon.

You don't need to be a Prime member to make Amazon generate a commission. Follow through to Amazon for any of your shopping will generate a commission; it will be just a smaller one.

Here's a link to the main Amazon UK page:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ref=as_li_s...language=en_GB

If you join Amazon Prime that will also generate a commission:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/amazonprime...language=en_GB

As usual, you can help this site by donating via PayPal; here is a link:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...WPL&source=url

We actually benefit from a number of members who make a regular donation - for which everyone here should be very grateful!

Thank you!

Ian
