Lovely shots of these little gems Dave. Their range seems to have extended greatly over the past few years.

An excellent set.

They seem to prefer permanent water and are the last of the genus to emerge.

Thanks Ron.

These images were taken at the site where Willow Emeralds were first found in Suffolk.

Iíve visited the site each year since they were found there and their numbers have increased dramatically, they can now be found all over the county.

Coincidentally, I found a Norfolk Hawker at the same site last week, the first Iíve ever seen there, Iím hoping that theyíll become established there also.
