Shy Rosella

By no means as obliging as last week's Kookaburra, this colourful parrot appeared to be deliberately in hiding.
It was a game of patience and only a matter of time until he raised his head to see what was going on below.

You nailed it in #2 and the branches just add some context rather than distract.

Thanks OM, sometimes you take a shot like this and think, 'dammit, if only he had perched in clear view', and when on the pc you see what you got you realise what a blessing it was that it wasn't!
