Evening reflection at the beach

Here is a shot I took at the beach tonight just after the sun went down.

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

Light V dark V light. The composition works well, Alf.

Being a colour junkie I would have added a tad more saturation but that's just me.

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

Nicely shot Alf, lovely symmetry. Maybe a little darker sky would have added a bit more drama?

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

The sky is nice but could be a touch more burnt in. Like the position of the cloud reflection In the pool. The dark rocks do tend to cut the image in two and a lightening of them with a slight darkening of the sky may help. Still a pleasing image though.

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

Alf, I think it must be said, your getting better at these sunset reflections

This pool is an absolute CRACKER and the foreground detail must be so clear in the raw

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

Love the soft light and pastel colours and the strong foreground interest. This picture does not need much doing to it!

Re: Evening reflection at the beach

That's a great picture Alf, nice soft lighting and colours, by all means play with it further but as it is works well for me.
