Mull landscapes

A couple of landscapes from my trip to Mull a fortnight ago. (As you can see, I've been playing around with ND grad filters.)

The first one is my take on the Salen boats, a weel kent scene popular with photographers:

The second one shows some of Mull's dramatic cliffs - we struck lucky with the lighting over the red barn and crags just as we approached, but I did have to spend quite a bit of time in Lightroom afterwards cloning out raindrops:

I was privileged to be in the company of Phil McDermott, Mull based landscape and wildlife photographer, who not only showed me some outstandingly spectacular scenery but also shared his expert knowledge with me.

Love the light on the cliff/barn shot.

Re: Mull landscapes

The first shot is excellent.
The second shot is sublime. You have captured that beautiful light superbly.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Mull landscapes

Two wonderful shots, the 2nd is rather special.
