How does the image quality - colors of the E-400 compare with E-1?

Re: Image quality

I seem to remember the colours were very close and more 'real' than a lot of the later cameras with different sensors. The e400 has twice the resolution on paper. I preferred my E1 to my e400 for a variety of reasons, only one of which was the images it produced; I think that is why the E1 still has quite a following.
