Shutter mechanisms

Sorry for this.
I have looked on Google as to how to check the number of actuations on my E500.
I switch the camera on, I open the card cover, I get the red warning sign, I press menu and OK together, then what? Have I missed a step, Do I need a lens fitted? do I need any particular camera settings etc etc.
Help please

Re: Shutter mechanisms

Actually for the E-1 & E-500 it is Display and OK (for all the rest it is Menu and OK).

After that follow the instructions you already have.
Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.
