Flower Power

I took the E-1 with 12-60 attached for a walk in the wood this evening (and the dog) and there were flowers everywhere. I am sure I have never seen Bluebells in bloom before May since moving up here, but there are lots out at the moment!
Here are a few shots from the walk:

Thanks for taking time to look

Re: Flower Power

A lovely collection of small spring flowers, Iain. I love bluebells, none grow wild in Oz, saw them in profusion when last in London.

Hope you won't mind me temporarily posting to your thread, I'll remove it within 12 hours or immediately if you wish.

A lovely set, Iain. I particularly like the violet (?) in no 3.

Re: Flower Power

Wonderful captures. The E-1 + 12-60 has a nice balance, doesn't it?

Thanks for your comment Stewart; yes the E-1 and 12-60 is a great feeling setup and weather resistant too.
When I set out for the above walk I hadn't anticipated there being so many flowers or I might have taken the 35mm or 50mm F2 instead, but the 12-60 has done a pretty good job.

Thanks for your comment John, I think it is a Violet/Viola too, but more than that I don't know.

Thanks Chevvy; the strange spring weather continues with snow forecast today and again on Friday - bring back the 24C temperatures please!

Thank you Peter; the 12-60 really helps with the background, however I did feel that it wouldn't focus quite close enough fo some of the shots.

Thanks Mark; I am glad you posted your shot and I have no problem at all with you adding a great Bluebell image to enhance the thread.
