Re: Sir, Madam - your room..

Love the title - can you fill us in about the circumstances of the subject? Looks fascinating...

Re: Sir, Madam - your room..

Ah yes:

We have folks that live in a mobile home park attached to this building - so I sometimes wander around the place with the camera when we visit.. There are lots of photo opportunities if you like rural decay

It clearly used to be a nice country house, then I suspect it became a hotel. Then trade took a dive and they set up the mobile home park about 20 years ago to bring in some cash. Oh, then the end of the house fell down..

However this isn't quite what it seems: The rest of the house is still in use and it could still pass for a hotel from the front (Excuse me sir, don't open that door...). There seems to be some signs of renovation, plus planning permission application for outdoor music and other stuff.

However, just for the moment, I don't think we will be staying there :-)

Pete

PS, this is in mid Wales; If you want to step back in time to an era where traffic was light and people were friendly then check out Bromyard, Leominster, Preseigne, Knighton etc

Reminds me of what anyones home can look like after teenagers have held a party in it.
