Moonrise Over Teermoyle

The grim/grey weather gave us a break today . . . looking across the valley from the cottage this evening.

Very nice, John, and I'm sure it was a welcome break in th weather. At least you have a view in one direction without any wind turbines - yet!

Re: Moonrise Over Teermoyle

Thanks for the kind word. As for the wind turbines; when I was a small boy I read my copy of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds to shreds, the dread Tripods of the Martians making, of course, an indelible impression on my young imagination.

And I cannot look at wind turbines - anywhere - without a deep suspicion that they are but Tripods in disguise, and that I will wake tomorrow morning to this:

Yikes.
