Taken through the living room window handheld.

E-30 and 70-300mm, 1/250 s @ f/5.6, ISO 1250, Focal Length 300 mm.

Nice one....wonder what he's trying to look up at

Paul...could you say if you did a lot of processing on this as @ 1250 iso I would be in all kinds of bother with noise etc ....or is it down to the E30.

Thanks for looking Keith, it was shot in raw and processed in CO6 Pro raw converter, you can always get better noise reduction results processing a raw file.

I'd say the E-30 is no better than the E-510/520 for noise and some say it is worse at lower ISO's

It took me less than five minutes in the Raw converter get the optimum image quality I wanted, with no need for further editing in PS, this is never a possibility using jpeg as the camera set noise parameters are a little inflexible and either favour to much noise or less noise with detail smearing.
