First attempt at fireworks

Thought I'd give fireworks a whirl at our local Abbey, never done long exposures before so this sure was a learning curve. Excuse me if they appear blurry this is down to the file size restriction as they are pin sharp at full res.

Re: First attempt at fireworks

You should be very pleased with all these !

You could try a little saturation to really make them zing, but that is just a suggestion

Re: First attempt at fireworks

Thanks for the kind comments the images have not been edited and are the jpgs straight from the camera. I will have a play with the raw files now you have said that just to see if they bring out some additional juicy colours.

Re: First attempt at fireworks

Very nice for a first go

if you do reprocess, do keep the background dark. nothing worse in my opinion than fireworks on a grey (i.e. no longer black) background

Regards
Andy
