The fastest shot I've ever taken... my friend the mouse again!

Well, I spotted this little field mouse (I think it's the one I posted the other day), but this time in a different location in the garden, but the old shed I have. I had luckily moved the net curtains in the conservatory out of the way the previous evening after I'd placed some more feeders on the edge of the shed (it get's some nice sunlight). So when I spotted this mouse darting back and forth to that blue thing in the pic and the shed, I grabbed the E-3 and managed to catch just this one (the others were too dark and OOF).

Not brilliant by a long way, but a keeper for the collection...

A nice picture of a rat dining out on a slug pellet. That is the trouble with bird feeders you do need to put the rat poison down - but slug pellets should slow it down!

Seriously, I agree the colour and lighting is good and ratty is quite photogenic and may even encourage kestrels and owls to the garden.

Please excuse my humour, been a better day today! best wishes

Peter

Mine are all different colours. The man who sold them to me said that was because they were the most expensive sort. They came in a small cardboard tube, covered with pictures of the pill outside. They taste of chocolate.

Nice one John. I think all the witty comments have been covered so I'll just say I like the colours, almost cross processed, and it fits well with the drugged subject.
All the best,
Phil

There's always room for more witty comments if you have them matey... This was one of those quick, grab the E-3 and shoot type shots. I tool a few, but many are of just the mouses tail

Glad I managed to capture this though.

This is a cool shot John. Those critters are quick, I would have never been able to capture this with the E-1.
