Waxwings

A couple of images of Waxwings which visited Suffolk last year.

I'm hoping they return this year however, it's not looking good so far.

Thanks for looking.

Re: Waxwings

I had about 40 in my garden last year and they managed to eat all the berries off a Rowan tree in 15 minutes. Unfortunately the only lens I had at the time was my 12-50, so didn't get any good pictures.

Re: Waxwings

Excellent shots of these beautiful birds Dave. There is still time for some to turn up but it has been a very poor autumn and winter for birds so far.

Thanks Ron.

I agree, it's not been a good Autumn/Winter for birdlife.

It's not just our area though, I have friends across the country who say the same.

Let's hope things improve as the year progresses.
