RIP Toby

My mate Toby made his last visit to the vet today had to be kind to him he had lymphatic cancer.
We inherited him when he was eight as his owner died ( family friend) he would have been 17 in November.

He will be missed a special friend, with a lovely little personality.

Re: RIP Toby

My condolences. Spent weeks stepping over toys, food and water bowls that weren't there after ours passed. They make a real impact on our lives.

So sorry to hear your loss, what ever non-pet people say, they are a great part of our lives, both friends and companions and always faithful.

Re: RIP Toby

I'm sorry for you & know how it feels. My son wanted his own dog but we had to put up with the pup growing up here (& is still here) & he quickly filled the hole left behind from Jake when he had to make that last visit to the vet.

Re: RIP Toby

I know what it's like Ed and you have sympathy.

We still get flashes of sorrow when something triggers memories of Molly and she died several years ago. Bruno and Lulu have filled the gap but no disrespect to them they will never be the same as Molly who was a very special gentle giant.

The kids, don't know why I keep calling them that still, all miss her as they grew up with her. That can never be replaced only fondly remembered.

Re: RIP Toby

Yes he was with me every day, he still did not like posing right up to the end. He was well practised at turning his head away at the focus beep!
