Because he needed the honey

More bee pictures.

I'm trying not to catch the perfect specimen bee - but the bee in his landscape, a creature of a strange jungle. Not wholely sure I am succeeding so comment welcome.

There are a couple more in the gallery for those adventurers to the distant shores of e-group.

They're nice and clear.

They also show that the bee is well camouflaged amongst yellow flowers, although I'm sure that's not what you were intending.

Well - in a way it was, a lot of photographing of nature concentrates on getting a clear image of the subject, but the subjects live/hunt/forage in the environment. They are often mergeing into the scene. After all the picture of the hunter emergeing from the trees/forest is a standard representation.

Thank you Andy/Edward.

That's two votes for the most 'convential' of the images - I tend to favour the second though the first has some wonderful colours.

Re: Because he needed the honey

Me being conventional

Actually it was the riot of colour more than the composition. I just found it a powerful visual treat.

I would kill to have all three in my collection. I think I need to slow down and look harder at my surroundings

Regards
Andy
