Unhappy Advice on E-3 repair.

Hi, just seeking some advice concerning a repair to my E-3. It concerns the LCD monitor casing. There are two little machine screws on the edge of the thumbnail slots and one of the screw housings has snapped off. I'm just frightened of dust and grime getting inside or the other bracket snapping. I could probably glue it, but am reluctant to do so. I've only had it a year in January having bought it from Warehouse Express. I have the Warranty Certificate, although I don't have the proof of purchase. It is registered with Olympus. My dillemma is, do I do a quick fix, or send it to be repaired, and if so how do I go about it... it is my baby!!

Hope someone can help, David.

Re: Advice on E-3 repair.

With an expensive piece of kit like that it's almost certainly best to get it done properly.

Warehouse Express should have a record of the sale on their system, and should be able to supply you with proof of purchase.
