Same beach different mood

Here are a couple of shots I took last night at sunset on a very low tide.
This is Parton beach same place as THIS shot just about 50 yards further out to Sea.

Oooh, now these really are two terrific shots, but No 1 is, in my opinion, exceptionaly good. A wall hanger to be sure!

Re: Same beach different mood

Thanks for all the comments guys Glad you like them.
The rocks are an ancient fossilised beach.

I was at work tonight or I may been out again as the conditions were good and the tide was lower I think because the full moon. So maybe tonight would been a night to meet unlike you the tide wasnt hundreds of yards further out. But I hadnt seen these rocks before.

Number two for me Alf. Love the way the sun is caught, especially the waves in the foreground.
Number one is I like too.

Re: Same beach different mood

I think the lighting and reflections in both of these are great.

Personally I think that cropping out some of the upper sky from No1 would turn it into a real winner.
