OM-D + Oly m75-300 for 700!!

Heads up & be quick!!:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Olympus-E-...item4abb05f259

Nothing to do with me, and I won't be bidding!!

If it's kosher, a 'finders fee' would be nice!

Re: OM-D + Oly m75-300 for 700!!

Says it's got a "built in flash". I didn't think the OM-D had one.

There's just something a bit odd about the auction!

I agree - why no charger? No hint of reason for sale. "all in working condition, good, clean." I would think so for a virtually new camera. Also seems a bit odd for body to be coupled with a 75-300mm but no standard lens. Wouldn't you sell them seperate? Seller has a feedback score of 4.

Wouldn't touch this with a barge pole and it seems other ebayers agree - 6 hours remaining and no bids for what should be a bargain that is almost too good to be true.......

Maybe there's a bunch of snipers with their fingers on the trigger.

Quite possible, but someone normally jumps by now.

I've put it on my watch list, out of interest. If anyone here makes a successful bid, please let us know how you get on!

I logged in with 42s to go and in the last few seconds there were two bids bringing it up to 819.50. Not a bad price even so.

Was one of them your bid, David?

Probably someone has got themselves a bit of a bargain, but warning bells were ringing for me and I couldn't afford to risk it!

No, I didn't bid - I have yet to be convinced of the merits of MFT over my E5 and Pro and Top Pro lenses. You always wonder about the provenance of kit that is missing some of its accessories.

My thoughts too, David.

Re: OM-D + Oly m75-300 for 700!!

That would explain why it is an unusual combination of lens and body, with no charger!

Re: OM-D + Oly m75-300 for 700!!

If I had lost or had my kit nicked I would have an obsession with e-bay type sites looking for it so maybe if this one was "obtained" then maybe it might have been detected.

Mind you there have been a few funny combo's and stuff missing in kit advertised on here from people we know so maybe all was well with this sale.

Only just saw this, and have to agree: odd combination, no charger, private sale = lorry with faulty tailgate.
