IS in the new Olympus Micro 4/3 body?

Anybody seen any sign of the specs, like, will the body have IS? unlike the G1.

A lot of hints were dropped last autumn that Oly were minaturising their in body IS for the mFT system and then a minaturised IS system suddenly popped up in the E620. Seems a reasonable deduction that the new small IS was intended for mFT and they saw an opportunity to use it in another body as well

Yes, makes sense, I hadn't realized the IS in the E620 was minaturized, thought it was the same as the E520. If the mFT body has IS and the price is right, I would of thought the E4xx body would feel the pressure.

According to this morning's A.P. The new body will be very similar to the 1950s Pen f.

VERY cool, I've put my E-420 twin lens kit and 25 pancake (having offered it all here first) up on eBay in anticpation. I admit it!

Re: IS in the new Olympus Micro 4/3 body?

I have not really taken an intrest in the micro 4/3 system previously but if it is anything like the mock up then it looks to be excellent dimensionally and a serious alternative to lugging a dslr about. I will watch with intrest as it develops
