Spotted Flycatchers with 300+MC-20

Having had the blazing sun and heatwave over the weekend delivery of the MC-20 saw overcast skies and less than optimal conditions for testing the teleconverter on the 300.

Yes, very nice indeed Andrew. From the second photo you appear to live in a castle with a portcullis. That's a surprise.

True, just a very, very small one.

I would need to think long and hard to convince myself that I can't do without it.
YouTube review didn't impress me. At what distance were you shooting from?
Can you piggyback MC-15 + MC-20 for an effective 1050mm reach?

Nice set Andrew, the MC-20 is looking like a good addition.

No piggybacking allowed.

Was not so impressed with the mc-20 on the 40-150, but on the 300 it is really something.

Distance to subject on the nesting bird about 11 meters (slight crop) and about 6m on the others (new measurements as I paced it out this afternoon and it was further than I thought).
