stronger spring

I really like the omd1mkII but hate the feel of the shutter button, I emailed Olympus to see if they could fit a stronger spring .
afraid its a no they don't do that as an option.

They did say Back button for focus so I will give that a try ,I did try it on my Canon but did not like it so will have to see.

Re: stronger spring

it's a matter of getting used to it. The Em1.1 seems stiffer as I could feel the 1/2 press even thru my gloves.

Re: stronger spring

A stronger spring would only mean more body movement when pressing. I know the IBIS is good, but I would not want to be making it work harder than necessary.

Re: stronger spring

I find it very hard to keep the right pressure mostly when using pro capture as you can be holding it for quite a while say when waiting for a bird to take off .
A mere touch more and you taking shots before you really want too and filling the buffer .
