Juvenile Peregrines

I've followed these superb raptors virtually from the eggs upwards, always from a safe distance, and so pleased that they are now ready to go fly in a day or two. All four (one can just be seen behind the large rock) have made it so far and will be much safer now. I doubt if I will see them again.
Taken from c180 metres through heat haze with the E-M5 plus Canon EF400mm f5.6 and 1.4x:

Re: Juvenile Peregrines

Seems like a very good year for Peregrines in the UK, if I can extrapolate the Nottingham Univ., the Derby Cathedral and the here shown!? Eleven youngsters from these three nests alone ...
Impressive long distance shot, as usual. Thanks for sharing!

There are four young Peregrines in the nest at Norwich Cathedral too Falk.

A great post David. It is lovely to see these magnificent raptors doing so well these days.

Very encouraging that they have safely reached this stage safely.

Re: Juvenile Peregrines

Nice to read about these healthy Peregrines, thanks for sharing.

And a really good image quality considering the distance.
