Exclamation Please welcome our new moderator!

Callawolf has kindly volunteered to be our new moderator with particular focus on the For sale and wanted small ads board. He will keep an eye on things on that board and assist in closing completed threads and spotting spammers or other potential problems.

With experience as a mod on another busy forum unrelated to photography but with a busy selling section, he has the background experience for the task in hand.

Ian

Re: Please welcome our new moderator!

Fortunately this is an easy forum to moderate (except for when, like me earlier today, you mess up your password, get locked out and have to run to Ian for help ) but it's great to have another pair of hands - and eyes.

Thanks, Ceri.

Thanks, Ceri.
I can help with those things too, John... just in case you are unable to get hold of Ian.

Spats? We don't have spats here, we have reasoned friendly debates! Compared to the rest of the internet we are really well behaved!

Thanks John, I think I called on you once before when I had a problem. I managed to get hold of Ian quite easilly today, via Four Thirds User, and waste about an hour of his time!

Fortunately the rudest it ever gets here is someone leaving out a smilie and it is a great credit that our members are adult enough to have a reasoned debate and accept that sometimes there will be differences of opinion. I can think of one site where the most innocuous threads regularly turn into an ugly bar room brawl with abuse and obscenities hurled around like virtual chairs and bottles!
