A star fell from the sky?

Walking in the wood the other day I spotted this glinting in the sunlight on the wood-chip path. Is it a tiny star that fell from the sky, a blue ice crystal?

No, it fell from a Fairy's wing. Really!
One of the activities the education dept. at our Wildlife Trust visitor centre run is themed birthday parties. One theme that is very popular with the younger(3-5 yrs) girls is the "Fairy Garden Party".They go out into the wood and meadow looking for tiny creatures etc. and toast marshmellows on a fire before the birthday tea. They all come in fairy costumes and very sweet they look. This is a tiny sequin that fell from one fairy's wings.
Aah bless.

Thanks for looking.

she looked at me and said "It's official. I hate your camera. It's just so amazing and perfect I want one!"
