Dunstanburgh Castle

We had a nice day yesterday, so went for a stroll and a pub lunch. This castle and it's environs are probably the 2nd most photo'd thing in Northumberland after the Roman Wall. The tide was very low so there were some uncommon angles available.

And a pretty flower to end with:

Re: Dunstanburgh Castle

Always a beautiful spot for photographers and so many angles to see it from, so 'the view from the sea' makes for an interesting change - all it needed was a little less wind than we seem to be having up north at the moment and you would have had some fab reflections too.

Regards
Chris

Some good shots there. Never been even though it's probably easily within a day trip from here.

Certainly some of the more interesting shots I've seen. Well done.

Re: Dunstanburgh Castle

Well seen John. It's a popular subject but there's always a personal way to view it. I'm just glad it's far enough away from the crowds for it to stay quite special. Hope it stays that way. Cheers Peter

Re: Dunstanburgh Castle

Thanks all, I'll need to get back at a wind free low tide day, but wind free up there is a rare event!
